Samsung confirms upcoming Galaxy S23 FE phone, sources say it will use a mix of different processors

IT House News on July 26, Samsung held an Unpacked event in South Korea today, releasing a variety of devices such as new folding screen phones, tablets and smart watches, and the company will launch more new products before the end of this year. One of the new products is the Galaxy S23 FE phone, which is a special edition phone launched by Samsung for the fan base. Samsung has now revealed that the new phone may be released soon.

According to Android Authority, when asked about “there is an FE size gap between the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy S23,” Justin Hume, vice president of Samsung South Africa’s mobile division, said, “We are about to release a new product.” He did not mention There is no specific name for the phone, but Sammobile’s sources had earlier confirmed that the next FE phone will be called the Galaxy S23 FE.

The appearance and configuration of the Galaxy S23 FE is also no secret, with recently leaked renderings showing that the phone looks similar to the Galaxy S23 and S23+, and may also share some specifications with them. In terms of chips, Samsung will use last year’s Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 used by the Galaxy S23, as confirmed by the phone’s benchmark list.

However, unlike the Galaxy S22 series, which uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips in almost all markets, the Galaxy S23 FE is likely to only use Qualcomm chips in the US and China markets, and other markets will use Exynos 2200 chips.

In addition to the Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung is also developing two FE version tablets of the Galaxy Tab S9 series, but it is unclear when these tablets will be officially released and whether they will be released at the same time as the Galaxy S23 FE. IT Home will keep an eye on it.
